Wut? Both Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews branched somewhat separately only in the Middle Ages (so pretty recently) but still had a fair amount of contact. Both came from the same Jewish diaspora in the Roman world, then some moved north of the Pyrenees and some stayed south. They are very closely related to each other and both Jewish groups are pretty closely related to Palestinians. You seem to be misunderstanding Ashkenazi vs. Sefardi Jews and setting up a racial distinction that's not there.
