Why it has to be the world's responsibility to let the most fearful force the rest of us into masks. Before Biden we were complaining how the 1% were setting the rules of the 99... hypocrites

I lack understanding why I went to two shows last weekend in NYC, no masks, but alas this stupid little travelling venue thinks their ridiculous rules are better. I have one more ticket I bought when I though these fools would follow Broadway's lead... I will buy no more tickets until the idiotic management at the KC gets in touch with the world's realities.
I guess "forever" = 10/18/22?

A vaccine does not stop you from spreading COVID. And if you're over 60, you can get very sick. You may not end up in the hospital but you could be out of commission for weeks. Why would you want to do that to someone?

There is such a thing as cold and flu season. Do you not see that there is no COVID season? We are at risk every time we walk into a crowded space at any time of year.
Why wouldn't just spare others your COVID germs and put on a mask?

They were pretty militant looking to scold people. Meanwhile I've seen events with celebrities at the Kennedy Center on TV with no masks in site. It's just a way to control people and I'm not going back anytime soon.
Agreed. They’ll be scrambling for more massive donations when they see the financial consequences of their stupidity.

Theater got really hard hit and it closes down a show quickly when performers get sick. Plus you are sitting there for hours in close quarters. I'm glad people wear masks. I just don't see how it's a big deal and I have massive asthma -- I can't wear them when walking outdoors or excercising, so I think I'm on the sensitive side, but sitting in an air conditioned theater is totally fine. My kids are also all fine with it. This just seems like such a non-issue and if it helps keep the theaters open, then great.
I keep reading this hear, but everything I can find online says Broadway went mask-optional back in July. Is this not the case?
Broadway is not requiring masks. I saw a show on Broadway in Aug. and masks were not required. Someone keeps posting this but they are wrong.
Broadway in NYC required masks until July 2022
Yes, which was [checks calendar] in the past. This is now. In the present we're asking why the Kennedy Center still requires them.

How do you know they were all HAPPILY wearing a mask?
