Same with School Daze (spike Lee movie) but another big one when I was college. Me and my friends knew all the songs and would act along to all the singing parts. We watched it so many times I can still recite many of the scenes.

This movie is amazing. I remember having to search for a theater that was showing it because it wasn’t released nationwide.
