That’s a fun way of saying they let him lock himself in a classroom to slaughter 10 year olds unencumbered

Everybody hates the shooter, troll. The cops let kids bleed out and die instead of doing the one job we need them to do.
There you go again. Yadda, yadda the shooter and then spend your energy hating the police.

The fact that there were police outside setting a perimeter and keeping civilians from running inside does not mean there were not already officers inside addressing the situation.
We know a lot. We know the initial police stories were all lies. We can see in the videos that a bunch of local cops were doing nothing. Just standing around in their expensive gear looking like they've never had any training for responding to a shooter.
And yet, you have no idea when that footage was taken or what was going on inside the school at that time. You have no idea how many officers who were already there addressing the threat. You have no idea what information those officers had. Just wait until the facts come out, it’s really not that hard for reasonable people.
You can hear gunshots in the videos
And?
That tells us when it was taken and what the cops were doing at the time.
Do you think those officers are the only officers in the world? Could it be possible - gasp - that there were already officers inside addressing the situation? And you still don’t know when it was taken. During the beginning? During the end when everyone in the room had already been shot? Was it the officers firing? You DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED YET. The fact that you have not even considered other contingencies makes it abundantly clear you have no tactical training or situational awareness.
According to the cops themselves, they withdrew, set up a perimeter and waited for backup.
That’s not what I’ve seen. What is out right now is that there may have been officers trying to get in but the door was locked. They may not have had breaching equipment and that is why they needed a tactical squad. The people in the class may have been killed very early in and he was contained. We just don’t know yet. I’m not saying they did everything right, I’m saying we should wait for the whole picture. This thread is full of people suggesting that law enforcement was gleefully watching children die and it’s just disgusting.
They eventually opened the door with a key.
The cops that went in saved their own children in different classrooms.
Link? It is reported that they were evacuating all sorts of people. Stop making things up, Sergei.

When a gunman is shooting inside a school shooting kids and teachers, police don't stand just around waiting for back-up. It's that simple. No cops engaged the shooter for an hour. Yesterday's timelines were all lies.

Slice it how you want but the cops did not go into that school because that kid had an assault rifle and would have mowed them down. That's a problem. The only for society and our children but for law enforcement
