The A-hol seems to be nursing his hate for Judge Jackson since their Harvard Law School Law Review days. He said yesterday they both were on Law Review magazine team but not friends.

They’re building their sound bites for their future campaigns. Their base will be thrilled to see their representatives doing —what they will likely view as putting an overly educated uppity Black woman in her place. This public nastiness is a total win for them, and even more so if they can get KBJ to stumble publicly and on camera.

Irrelevant when we're talking about the current hearing.
Why punish Ketanji for what happened in the past?
Of course it is relevant. The student body, the quality of teachers, the resources available, the education level of parents, the level of safety in the communities, the level of violence in the communities, the social connections available for upward mobility, and many more are vastly different between a public school and a private school communities. Of course, there may be some exceptions to this, as in magnet schools. Private school parents aren’t idiots to throw their hard earned income in the form of tuition, fee, and donations to private school education if they can send their children to public schools for free
She said as board member at GDS she was not aware that they were teaching CRT and is not responsible for setting currriculum. Someone needs to follow up with her and ask her as a board member of GDS now that she has been made aware, what is her opinion on what was being taught at a school where she was on the board?
I thought these qus were BS. However, I would have liked to hear her explain her decision to send them to private school at all - I think that is fair game, since part of her narrative is that her parents were public school teachers and she went to public school.
Oh come one. It's the same reason lots of public school advocates in government send their kids private - privacy, security, and able to better control who has access to their kid(s). But you already know that.
I am very liberal and love her, but I think it a choice that reflects something -and it is fair game to ask her about it. The security thing after the murder of Judge Salas's son I think would be an acceptable answer. That was Obama's answer - he was asked about it, too.
Why is it fair game for a supreme court nominee? Seriously. What does her choice of private versus public school have to do with her record as a judge? And this question is coming from someone who believes private schools are a scourge. But they're not really relevant to the question.
Some are just annoyed with the hypocrisy of the narrative put forward about her. I agree it has no relevance to her work.

A) Is GDS a public school? (I don't know the answer to that but, since you're such an expert, I assume you do).
B) CRT is not the same as religiously held beliefs on abortion for Catholics. As another poster explained, and having been raised Catholic, I can tell you that person is correct: There is no gray area on that issue for practicing Catholics.
A) 1. GDS is not a public school 2. The judge was on the board of GDS, I do not know if she still is. 3. Senator Cruz provided compelling evidence that CRT is being taught from a young age at GDS.
