Of course it is relevant. The student body, the quality of teachers, the resources available, the education level of parents, the level of safety in the communities, the level of violence in the communities, the social connections available for upward mobility, and many more are vastly different between a public school and a private school communities. Of course, there may be some exceptions to this, as in magnet schools. Private school parents aren’t idiots to throw their hard earned income in the form of tuition, fee, and donations to private school education if they can send their children to public schools for free

I thought these qus were BS. However, I would have liked to hear her explain her decision to send them to private school at all - I think that is fair game, since part of her narrative is that her parents were public school teachers and she went to public school.

Why is it fair game for a supreme court nominee? Seriously. What does her choice of private versus public school have to do with her record as a judge? And this question is coming from someone who believes private schools are a scourge. But they're not really relevant to the question.

Some are just annoyed with the hypocrisy of the narrative put forward about her. I agree it has no relevance to her work.
