Who says it’s “not really a thing”? It’s an academic legal theory and as such it is not being taught in elementary school. Or else man those kids must be advanced geniuses that they can discuss legal theory.

While I agree with the PP who says that there is no CRT handbook that says good grades are white supremacist culture, I do believe that they are a bit naive or uninformed about how CRT concepts have shaped curriculums. I have read math curriculums that literally say “focusing on getting the right answer is white supremacist culture.”

Btw, I have no issues with CRT being taught in college or late high school, provided that it is taught as what it is, which is a theory.

I doubt there is a CRT handbook, per se. It's a collection of viewpoints, which some schools have accepted and some states are prohibiting by law.

The theory is one thing; it's basic tenets are generally understood. But it's become a catch-all phrase for anti-racism pedagogy, which has many variants of views including the one mentioned above that expecting high grades is a white supremacist value. I don't think anyone really objects to learning what the theory is about. The objection seems to be with the way schools are implementing these anti-racism ideas, some of which are from CRT.

I don’t know where you got any of this crap about his theory on grading being part of CRT. Basically what he is saying is that grading on the “curve” Doesn’t work in every classroom. Harvard figured this out long ago. You won’t have an equal amount of F’s as you do A’s.
