Word is that Prep has 3 multi-year holdbacks in their 20's. 2 of them have kids of their own and I hear a Prep booster is paying for the babysitting!!

Also hearing that Bullis just brought in Paul Rabil to play next year; somehow he has an extra year of high school eligibility through some IAC loophole.

It is so unfair. It can't be that my kid isn't good enough and didn't work hard enough. It has to be unfair.

Holdback whiners have no idea how much work a kid puts in, the sacrifices he makes, and the more than a little bit of luck that goes into a path to top level lacrosse. 3-12 months of age can't overcome that. Not saying it is completely irrelevant (kids are doing it for a reason), but it is such a small part of the formula yet receives such outsized complaining.

Look again at the IL's list of top 22's. 8 out of the top 10 will be 18 years old when they graduate HS. A few months here or there is not why these kids are where they are. A few months here or there is not why other kids aren't on that list.

Spend more time worrying about what matters and what you can control and you may find a better outcome than through just whining.

These are HS kids does four months really matter? The team also has several 23’s some who attend public school and on age. The UA team crushed the Baltimore team they likely has as many or more holdbacks. Age was not a factor. The DC team was just far better than all the other teams.

This is all grade based right, there's no age restrictions right? Having a few on age kids on the roster may not make up the the age margin that DC has.

DMV 22s and 23s are representing well.

Looks like 23 DC Dogs are continuing the National domination. It is good to be a lacrosse player from the DMV.

Also a lot of strong ‘23’s on the team
