After he was traded to the Padres there were bumper stickers around saying “Steve Garvey is not my Padre.” He seems to be a terrible padre.

Missed that Ziegler is the second Florida GOP chair in a row to face sexual misconduct allegations. The previous chair seems to have a Matt Schlapp-type issue.
“The Republican Party of Florida investigated its chair, Joe Gruters, in connection with a sexual harassment allegation involving a legislative staffer amid complaints from top party officials that the accusation was covered up.
Four party officials and an additional source who works with the Republican Party of Florida told POLITICO Tuesday morning that the allegations stem from an evening at a Tallahassee bar during the 2021 legislative session. Sources say a male aide offered to drive Gruters home from the bar and at some point Gruters allegedly sexually harassed the aide. A formal complaint was filed with the state party shortly after the incident.”

As teenagers tried to leave the home, Schillinger — who police said had supplied the more than 15 minors at the party with a basement bar stocked with vodka and rum, played beer pong with them and encouraged them to take shots with her — ordered them to stay.
She then punched one young man in the face three times, according to the affidavit, which said video footage showed Schillinger lunging toward a group of teenagers in the foyer and having to be restrained.”

They reported him to the FBI accusing him of abusing his office to help a political donor.
The men were terminated shortly afterward. The group then filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination under the Texas Whistleblower Act.

Wow, someone really doesn’t want to be deposed. And how do you just “end” a lawsuit against you?

“A woman who received a payout from WWE boss Vince McMahon has accused McMahon, the company and a former executive of sex trafficking in a new lawsuit that raises questions about the breadth of an internal company probe conducted by a law firm last year.
Janel Grant, a former employee at WWE’s headquarters, said in a lawsuit filed Thursday that she was abused and sexually exploited by McMahon while he was chief executive. She alleged that McMahon lured her with promises of career advancement, and then he allegedly exploited her and trafficked her to other men inside the company.
Grant signed a nondisclosure agreement in 2022 in which McMahon agreed to pay $3 million for her to not discuss their relationship or to disparage him.”
