So you can't have 2 good players on a team?
Anonymous wrote:Virginia Rush sent two girls to these sessions. Just saying.
oooo i didn’t know they were big dogs at FVU. This is news to the team. I guess they carried the team all season and put belt to VDA as well?!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:We know quite a few that are already working on leaving. DB was/is not the only issue with this club. He was just the weakest link that could be removed.
DB didn’t just allow a toxic environment — the club actively created one. From the start, it was MD players versus everyone else. He rolled out the so-called IDP on Saturday night and offered zero communication about departures. Then on Sunday, he met with multiple MD players and shared his plan for departure. Why not send out a communication to the team as a whole?
Also watch the VDA game if there’s any doubt. That wasn’t a team — it was a divided group operating in full us vs. them mode. Not wanting to pass, playing the hero card. That is the opposite of leadership and has no place in building a cohesive program. CW isn’t innocent either. He saw exactly what was happening and chose silence over accountability.
Anyone who stays should be clear-eyed about what they’re signing up for. Unless you’re part of the favored MD “golden kid” circle, you’ll be on the outside — and that’s by design.
The MD kids are going to Bethesda
That simple? Why weren't they at Bethesda to begin with?
Because of what they were sold and convinced to go to FVU
This is a lie!!
For 2011 - Some could not get on the ECNL team (were offered RL and moved on) and others that made it to ECNL did not get playing time and chose to leave to FVU. They are now the big dogs at FVU, running the show.

But does the badge really hold that same value it did 3 years ago? Makes sense for older girls, but 2011 and below have options now.
Exactly. The ECNL badge isn’t the only badge that gets you invites to ID sessions and allows you to play at showcases in front of college coaches
You can tell me ECNL is better all day long but if you are staying just for the badge you deserve what you are getting
You "chasing the badge" people need to learn what you are talking about. The girls want to play on the best team possible and against the best competition possible. The badge chasing was specifically directed at 2011 FVU and parents willingness to put up with coach and club rather than going to another team.
If you are saying that you are at FVU because your daughter wants to be on the best team she can make. Great. But then don’t complain all year about the coach and club.
Can't they want to make the best team possible and still recognize that there are organizational issues that need to be fixed. They tried out for a team, and their coach quit mid year. They didn't know that was going to happen. Is that not something they should be able to complain about?
I could support you if he didn’t do the exact same thing last year and that was the only complaint.

Yes. It holds the same value. Top players are not playing GA.

Tell that to the Arlington parents who have to watch Loudoun get the same number of invites as Arlington.

That’s a club promoting players problem. From what I see above from a PP, FVU and VDA both managed to send more than 2 players.
