You weren’t around in 2015 then. There were like 12 teams that were contending. Even South Lakes had multiple D1 kids. South County was great. Woodson won states in 2017. So many good teams. So I couldn’t agree less with that statement.
You’re discounting the fact that lacrosse has grown significantly across the country but the number of D1 schools has not. Lacrosse teams today, filled with club team kids, would soundly beat those older teams. If we’re using D1 commits as the yardstick, VA public school lax hasn’t gotten worse there is just a lot more competition.

Don't think you have really seen them play. what I saw was an ability to 6v6 or run and gun. They can play either style from my perspective.
