This is just an example of the insanity of how Trump and Kegsbreath are spending DoD funding like drunken sailors with an open tab.

Why are these soldiers not deployed to fight in Iran or Lebanon?

The interesting thing is China is doing pretty well without Persian Gulf oil. Looks like their energy independence strategy has work very well. Part of the US plan of a war with China was to cut off oil from the gulf. Looks like that plan is now in the trash bin.

Also Spain and Norway have weathered the oil shock. They both have lots of renewables.

Netanyahu wants troops on the ground and more attacks. That is what will happen.

He wants American troops on Iranian soil, not Israeli troops.

This is heartbreaking to me. Like with Gaza I am astounded we are sitting back and letting this happen.

And this time it’s so much worse - everyone is scared to protest based on what happened to protesters last time (remember the Tufts student swept up off the street by unidentified men while she was in the phone with her mom - all for writing an opt ed protesting what Israel was doing in Gaza!). We officially are living under a repressive regime.

You know who's actually scared to protest? Iranian citizens. Can't blame them considering the Iranian regime murdered thousands of them the last time they protested.

Maybe they’re scared to protest because they don’t want the us and Israel to install a shill candidate. They saw the disaster our failed regime changes caused in Iraq, Syria, libya. Do you think these places are better off post Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad? Absolutely not. Anyone well traveled will tell you Baghdad, Damascus, tripoli were excellent worldly cities pre war

Yes, I'm sure that must it. Not being utterly terrified that their insane and authoritarian mullahs will have them mowed down if they dare to protest.

Hey! Don’t throw stones in glass houses. We cannot protest here anymore either. We get SHOT!

How many Iranian protesters have been shot and how many American protesters have been shot?

Is there some acceptable number of protestors being shot or maimed or arrested or fired or jailed that makes you feel like the Trump administration is better than the Iranian leadership?

What’s the ratio?

DP. Here's a better question: tell us exactly why you are so defensive of the Iranian regime and why you feel they're more "moral" (can't believe I just typed that) than the U.S. Don't forget to take into account their brutal jailing and executions of political prisoners, women, homosexuals, etc. We'll wait while you build your insane defense of a terrorist state.

Do they rape prisoners with dogs like Israel does? Do they have an organ, drug, and child trafficking racket like Israel? Do they have a litany of failed false flags across 5 continents? Did they atomic bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki, enslave and separate people from their children, and ethnically cleanse Native Americans then name football teams after it?
Did they invade a country based on fake intelligence which led to a million deaths? Did Iran support and arm terror groups like Al Qaeda and Isis? Did they starve Cuba to death with humanitarian aid blockades? (Nobody’s talking about this)

No, that was all the United States

But hey we have pride parades so I guess we are moral

Yes, Persia did practice slavery enthusiasticly. Slavery in Persia/Iran was not outlawed until 1929.

..and we did it until 1865. Again, pretending that we are good and moral just because we didn’t something a little longer ago or on a smaller scale bizarre.

Many of our Middle East “allies” practice defacto slavery right now in construction and other industries and we suck up to them like it’s our job.

You explicitly said we were less moral specifically because we engaged in slavery and they did not. You were blatantly wrong on a factual basis and can't have it both ways.

Iran/Persia have never been global Mother Teresa's. That doesn't mean that this war was a good idea but it does mean that your anti-American moral bs, which is eerily similar to the anti-Iranian moral bs, is bs.

+1
Also notable that the PP *completely* ignores all of Iran’s terrorist proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis) and the mass murders of protesters, just to name a few of the atrocities committed in Iraq for decades.

DP. Israel has more proxies attacking Iran than Iran has proxies attacking Israel. It is well documented and no in dispute. Again if you say Iran must stop the use of proxies Israel will have to stop using proxies. Israel killed 100,000 people who were under their control in Gaza. Should Israel be held to account for its war crimes?

What the f?

I absolutely love how you up that number every time you post. No, Israel did not kill "100,000 people" in Gaza. Get a grip.
DP

DP- Eh! Give or take a few thousand. Israel readily admitted to 70,000 deaths, but the experts have said the number is a lot higher. Think about it, if Israel is willing to accept the killing of 70,000, you know that was a gimme break for Israel.
https://www.bmj.com/content/392/bmj.s239

These same psychos readily believed that Iran killed 40,000 in like two days from the ground, but of course, it's only 70,000 over two years when you use the equivalent of 6 Atomic bombs (and constantly double and triple tap to be sure that even the rescuers don't survive) on an even more concentrated group of humans. The 70K number was denied by those savages for a long time when Hamas reported it (who have always been accurate w/ their numbers regardless of what you think) and right up until The Lancet (which is also "Khhhamas"), said the estimate could be as high as 185K and that was in 2024. A disgusting person denies the death toll knowing full-well the monsters who caused it, won't allow an actual Int'l investigation. The nerve of denying what we all know and knowing full-well your savages won't even let the world see for themselves.

“Just another reminder that six months before this administration started bombing Iran, the State Department fired its oil and gas experts as part of the DOGE cuts.

The staff who modeled what happens if the Strait of Hormuz closes were laid off.

So were the experts with direct lines to oil and gas companies across the Middle East.

The sole staffer tracking sanctioned oil tankers was let go. So was the person who helped coordinate strategic petroleum reserve releases during exactly this kind of crisis.

This is what happens when you fire the experts and then start a war.”

My friend told me, the American people love him and they are happy with MAGA hats they received.

MAGA hats that are made in China, so much for America First. Insert a Big LOL. Trump watches that people who prepaid will never receive. Trump sneakers, oops. Trump Bibles, which the Oklahoma school board purchased and forced every public school to place in their schools. Trump coins have had a massive value dump, but Don Jr and Eric made billions while Trump MAGA continues to buy the scams.

Iran has a horrible, oppressive government and I wish the people will achieve freedom.

That said, no lies detected here. None.
