There is definitely a coordination prior to the try out at least for the HS girls. The colors doesn’t seem to make sense as the stronger ones are mixed with the less desired ones. There are 3 coaches for each team in which I think it’s just for show so that parents or kids aren’t going to panic. However, at try out , the Head coach makes it known that he is the head coach almost like I’m the new boss in town and you better pay attention to me kind of like a jackass move but that’s another discussion.

Still waiting on when are offers or rejections are coming. Need a Plan B if A doesn’t work out and all other ECNL clubs around are already having the ID sessions .

I’d be interested on what you all think the next best club/league to look into and why

More like

Plan B - tryout at other brand name clubs - NVA, VDA, ASA, SYC (hoping it is not too late)
Plan C - GA - FCV
Plan D - playing ECNL RL (tryout are in April/May)
Plan E - VRSC
Plan F - NCSL

No. My DC was with one of these clubs a few years ago and the roster continued to grow through the spring and summer. From 18 to 25.

Since only 18 can be rostered for game, what did the rest of them do?

They can't dress for the game and just watch on the sideline

Injuries start adding up unfortunately the older you get. In the last 2 years Brave hasn’t done any bait and switch with roster size, so I trust the numbers and that they can keep McLean in check.

Very few were invited. Unless they’ll invite more next week, this is simply a formalities to say they gave others opportunities

Honestly I don’t think any parent would want an even split. Unlike a lot of people on this board most people see two options, make it work or move on.
Lets hope politics don’t play a huge role and hope for the best team possible, most rational parents don’t want any kid, their’s or otherwise to have to deal with this again in 2 years.
I don’t get why so many think coaches want to stick it to talented children just because they are from the other Club. It’s best for their job security to pick the best kids also.
I don’t get the parents who keep wanting to fuel the hate and mayhem. Nothing will change except teams will be less likely to be cohesive because of parental anger.

They most likely already know 90% of the roster except the ones that are on the bubble. Now the interesting question is , are they going to do equal split ? (22 roster, 11 from Mcbrave and 11 from Union) OR just by talent? We all know politics will ALWAYS be here no matter how small there factor could be when it comes to the roster. Anybody have insights on the discussion to determine who makes the team ?

Green = McLean
Blue = Brave

Not so in our experience - blue was for top players from both.

Stupid way to evaluate players. Top vs weak? Way to get done with the final roster.

Doesn't matter because there is no offer out yet

A few are ..

Would be hilarious if they had existing union players in green and brave players in blue.
