Our age group has multiple players moving UP and DOWN mid season. This is below U13, so don't know about other age groups. These moves were NOT by parent's requests. From what we can tell the moves were warranted. Our player was not one of those moved, but we had a player move up from our team and another move down to us from the team above.
Our experience has been a good one so far, but it's a big club so I imagine opinions will vary.
You have fully made up this little narrative. No longer in 7v7 but this does not match up AT ALL with what happened when our child was that age. I suspect this is what you are telling yourself so you feel better that your kid was on a lower team and never got moved up. It’s totally because you signed up later. Sure buddy…

Anonymous wrote:Al and Gus are amazing coaches so why do you need a license to tell you that? If this was a concern, then you should have asked them before joining the team. After the fall, you have already spent several months with either of them, so not sure why you care. They are good or they are not. If you are concerned about their background check, come on. Please do recall that Arlington had the MD raper and Bethesda just had a coach get arrested for an authorized hand gun.Anonymous wrote:…still waiting to find out if my coach is licensed. U11G.

Not sure what team you are asking about but pretty sure the coach of the top team has a UEFA license. At least if the info from when he was at GFR is correct.
I’m looking for MY coach not some coach at the top team… how is that even relevant to what I’m asking… yeah, not me… but some guy I know has a license…

Anonymous wrote:^ this is so categorically false that I now know you have to be a troll. Watch a U9 "Gold" team and a U9 "Black" team. Are some kids going to need to be moved during the year? Probably, they have like two tryouts in May to make decisions and players develop differently, but to say because you registered first you're on the top team and that kid registered forty-third so he is on Black makes absolutely no sense in any world. More importantly though, you're just wrong.
