You mean the grown men who introduced their daughters to lacrosse to build confidence and learn all the life lessons sports helps with, then dedicated tons of time and money to help them pursue their dream of making H.S. varsity and playing at the next level? Yeah, we care.Anonymous wrote:oh my goodness. Who knew grown men cared so much about girls lacrosse?
Loser parents. 😀🤣😂

Anonymous wrote:Agreed with PP that #21 is a slid player, but cant do much when you take away the right hand. She's young and will continue to enhance her skills. But also agree that Oakton will be meh or below average next year as others stated. Face guard and limit #11 and #4 and then put pressure on their lefty feeder #5 and you completely destroyed the oakton offense. Let me re-phrase, hold #11 and #4 to 2 goals each.
Same thing with Madison as they have many talented players, but one player is sort of the quarterback of their offense. Shut her off and you will limit their production, although Madison may have a more well rounded offense than oakton.
Should be a great game friday night and all of this speculation is easier said than done when it comes to game time, guess we will wait and see what happens.

I know of several YJ South players who were highly recruited, and VA Metro’s 23 Black team had something like 18 of 21 players recruited (at least 13 D1). Capital is a fine club, but good players don’t need to feel like it’s a superior path. More important is liking your coach and teammates, having fun, and doing the work to get better and get in front of college coaches.Anonymous wrote:The kid is great! But we all know YJ is not. They love to find a good athlete and claim the glory! That is the LC trademark. I wish her well and success. Because she such a great athlete she will be successful regardless of what program she is with. Maybe she will get the invite from Capital this summer!
The days of Metro getting kids recruited are long over. YJMA doesn’t have a track record either. Sure, talented players will get seen but it takes a lot more work.
YJ’s have 10 23 commits. I would say that isn’t too bad for a 2 1/2 year program. But this isn’t a Club thread. Back to Regionals.

Let’s move on.
I like Madison for the win again but it should be a close exciting game
21 really needs to develop her left hand to be a real threat. Great player but take away her right and she is irrelevant.

Maybe get a hobby. Crocheting, beanie baby, collecting, mountain, climbing.
