The fact that no one can remember his name and he’s just “the podcast producer” should tell you everything you need to know about how terrible the writing/character development is. He’s a significant lover in that he is Carrie’s first partner since the death of her husband. And we can’t remember the cute sap’s name.

Nya seems like she's on a ship alone - I think she has the best clothes, is the best actor, and could have a good storyline. But she's not really part of this whole world. I'd watch a show of just her.
