This reminds me of what happened with DOGE and federal employees. There really was this overarching assumption that "they're dumb, and lazy, and they're only doing their jobs because they get money for doing nothing. Offer them a glazed carrot on a stick, and we can take the whole thing down without even having to fire them." But nope. The overall numbers were a spit in the wind, and the civil service kept it together -- limping, but not crashing.

I think there was this thing about Minneapolis that "oooh, they're 'nice,' and it's a bunch of liberals who bake casseroles and live soft little lives in their soft little city that refuses to vote for me. Let's arm up some guys and let them loose, Call of Duty style." Welp. Doncha know, that isn't going as planned.

Trump underestimates America. So does Miller, so does Bannon, so does Vought. And they keep underestimating, and we keep learning what works. It's nice to be proud of something again.

+1 This administration also thinks that white people don’t want these “other people” in their neighborhoods and can’t imagine anyone lifting a finger to help them.

Why none of these neighbors helped any of the illegal immigrants to legalize? They surely could have sponsored them, help them with employment visa, talent visa, pay for their immigration attorneys to expedite them receiving green cards? Why do they think whistle blowing would help these illegal aliens somehow to obtain a legal status?

You didn't read. A lot of them are here legally, and are following the established legal process. People are even being taken from court hallways going to their assigned hearing.

Have you not been paying attention? People with brown skin or who speak with accents are being detained, regardless of whether they are citizens.

Most of the people being snatched were in the system, gaining legal status. They didn't need help to legalize. Don't you get it? ICE is standing at courthouses abducting people showing up for their status hearings or worse, for their swearing in ceremonies. They are not abducting the actual criminals that we all agree should be deported.

I don't think you get it, most the states don't have these kinds of problems. This is a Minneapolis problem.

I don’t think YOU get it. Most states aren’t being invaded by paramilitary forces. Still plenty of illegals roaming free on the farms of Kansas and the streets of Florida.

What are you talking about? If it's happening in Minneapolis, it can happen anywhere in the country. It's already happening in Maryland and I'm astonished that you don't already know that.

Chicago resisted.

ICE left. The White House has a hard on for MN for reasons explained 50 times.

They should be able to do their jobs while being videoed.

Anyone who is unable should be fired.

That’s an interesting spin but no, the administration needs to figure out how to do its job. It’s failing, miserably.

This is quickly becoming this administration’s Abu Ghraib, but worse, because it’s happening here. Cleanup needed on aisle 45!

You realize that ICE is terrorizing anyone whom they think is illegal, right? Including citizens and legal permanent residents, right? Have you been paying attention?

No, they haven’t been paying attention, but it doesn’t stop them from running their mouths.

Remember when idiots felt ashamed about their stupidity and ignorance kept their mouths shut? I do.

So he shouted and blew a whistle, and five agents tackled him, one kneeling on his back and breaking a rib? And then they, what, just let this dangerous whistling nurse go, with his broken rib?

Was he some kind of James Bond vigilante that out-tricked them to get away, or was it just, you know, harassment and violence by ICE against a nonviolent citizen in the street?

It sounds like he was actively pursuing ICE, and didn’t move back/got in the way when they told him to move away. If he was close enough to them to be tackled, he was too close. Police/ICE have an obligation to enforce safe boundaries between them and people when they are pursuing, making arrests, on duty. Then he goes and does it again a week later! He and the women were too close to them and in the road and wouldn’t back away. They were both getting pushed back. The lady got shoved in the snow then he puts himself in the middle of that situation and it creates another escalation. The gun complicated everything, unfortunately. You don’t get into a physical confrontation with LEO while carrying a gun- you avoid this situation at all costs.

We've see the videos. There was no reason for ICE to feel threatened by people standing around with cellphones. They are the ones who are violent. They are the ones making bad decisions that put everyone in harms way. They are the murderers.

Stop trying so hard to blame victims and justify murder. If you are not outraged by cold-blooded murder in the streets by masked thugs, there is something terribly terribly wrong with you.

Anonymous wrote:As it turns out, this may not have been the first time Alex Pretti got into a physical altercation with immigration agents.

Reportedly, just one week before his death, Pretti (allegedly) broke his rib in a violent confrontation with ICE agents.

He was tackled for impeding operations, and a week later he showed up with a loaded weapon to attack federal law enforcement.

He had a history of interfering with ICE and the left wants you to believe he meant no harm. This is who they are rioting for.

The operation motivating and fueling these people needs to be completely exposed and brought down.

A memo sent earlier this month to agents temporarily assigned to the city asked them to “capture all images, license plates, identifications, and general information on hotels, agitators, protestors, etc., so we can capture it all in one consolidated form,” according to correspondence reviewed by CNN.

Pretti’s previous encounter is another reflection of the aggressive approach federal agents are taking with observers and protesters – a philosophy underscored by the request for agents to collect information about protesters whose activities are broadly protected by the First Amendment.

DHS has repeatedly warned of threats against federal law enforcement officers during immigration enforcement operations—and criticized protesters who they argue are impeding those operations. On Tuesday, the department also publicized an online tip form to share information about people allegedly harassing ICE officers.

“When our law enforcement encounter a violent agitator who is breaking the law, obstructing law enforcement or assaulting them, our law enforcement make records to advance prosecution. This is not ground breaking, it is standard protocol,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement.

The earlier incident started when he stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and began shouting and blowing his whistle, according to a source who asked not to be named out of fear of retribution.

Pretti later told the source that five agents tackled him and one leaned on his back – an encounter that left him with a broken rib. The agents quickly released him at the scene.

“That day, he thought he was going to die,” said the source.

Pretti was later given medication consistent with treating a broken rib, according to records reviewed by CNN.

Yes, it is becoming quite clear that ICE targeted him for retribution. Changed that unjustified homicide into first degree murder real quick.

That’s why that one goon was clapping.
