This is good, though it would have been better if Republicans had been willing to defy Trump a few weeks ago.

Read the DOJ filing requesting the Grand Jury testimony....the DOJ admits it would not be lawful to open it up, so your take here is simplistic.

Do you know what is available for public release? The 300 gigabytes of data the DOJ has in its control. It can be released yesterday, today or tomorrow without issue.

Why did speaker Johnson (GOP) shut down the House of Representatives rather than have a vote on a bill that would mandate the release (the votes were there) - good question.
