This is a good resource to see the recent commitments from the various teams a 2030 player might be consider for high school. As a PP already indicated, a club can provide a platform and leverage relationships, but it is 100% on the player to perform in front of coaches on the field during games and at camps starting fall of sophomore year.

YJMA has a good opportunity to establish itself as a viable HS team option assuming they can keep their current Teams mostly intact after the 8th grade year and can ultimately get their players recruited. There are a lot of ifs but they need to start somewhere and seem to have viable "A Teams" for 2030, 2031, and 2033 (they don't appear to have any teams for 2032).
The "if" for recruiting is probably the most important part and I don't think it is known whether or not YJ MA has the ability and infrastructure to help get their entire teams recruited at competitive programs.
With Capital Blue and Orange they consistently have their entire teams with offers to play at competitive programs. I am curious about how the coaching is at Capital (i.e. is the coaching solid or is Capital just giving a collection of really talented players a great platform to be seen and access to proven recruiting infrastructure).
They missed with their 2026 class. That class was doing really well their 9th grade year. Then, they kind of fell off. Most thought they would have similar results to their 2025 class. That wasn't the case. A lot of disappointed families.

Usually, a parent whose child could make both would know which is best. If not, they likely couldn't assess if their daughter was good enough to make both in the first place.

Where else will the team come from? Yes, that BLC team isn’t as good as M&D and MDU, but they are a decent team overall. What other team has talent in this area? And what impact MD kids are going to choose Cap Blue over staying at M&D, MDU, and HG? They will have to take almost all the BLC team and maybe the top 1-2 from Stars, but this isn’t a huge year for DC talent.

Year after year this BLC team has not been able to beat the top area teams. Many are not going to make it to Capital.
