Mcdonogh was good because Million developed all star teams around his kids at 91 and then recruited the best of those kids to Mcdonogh. They weren’t boarders.

Would not lose sleep over this. If Prep over-recruited from around the country or around the block, DMV lacrosse players (of which there are an abundance) could attend other DMV area schools (of which there are an abundance). Next.

That assumes that the boys they bought in aren’t any better than those locals who chose not to attend. Not sure that makes much sense.

It also greatly misunderstands the crowd that sends their kids there. Catholics strongly prefer Catholic schools here in DC in my experience.

All 3 attack are boarders. When you have the pick of a larger field, you get better players.

I didn't care who won the IAC before, but after the Prep dads in here are declaring multi-decade future domination, I'm all in on StA.

a couple of Canadians at GP would have a huge impact. These Box lacrosse guys would bring a degree of precision inside passing that is rarely seen here.

A year or two or three here would introduce them to the Field game they'll see at US colleges.

Who cares? There isn't enough NIL or a lucrative professional future for men's lacrosse to justify a fifth year for most. Quite different from the revenue sports.

That strategy hasn’t worked out well for boy’s Latin. It seems the boarders prefer to just do a PG year at one of the new powerhouses.

The Lacrosse program is an important draw for local, full-pay families. They might bring a few studs in, but more than a few is unlikely.

Of course those few studs will make a big difference on the field. But this won’t hurt local enrollment. It will help it.

It's a fact and will only increase under Hilgy.

Good! It’s within the IAC rules. There’s a precedent for dominating the Conference for 20 years.
