This is hilarious. I guarantee that FCV was so arrogant that they rolled their subs out as starters in this game and it blew up in their face.
Fcv had all of their players that they did the year before and started all of them.
How's that possible? Some other thread said they gained the best player in the universe this year plus the majority of the Loudoun stars.....did none of them start?

First of all, not Loudoun (not sure why you are obsessed with Loudoun, but I digress....). Second, maybe stop pounding your chest at how great you are and how everyone who's any good is flocking to you. Third, maybe have results that are to be expected (and certainly a tie against the lowly DE team wasn't expected by anyone....).

Well you were trailing to a scrub team that you beat 13-0 last year and ended up tying the game after regulation soooooo......
Giving up 4 goals to a team ranked 614th in the nation when just last year we were promised a GA National Championship. You bragged about loading up this year with the best of Loudoun and other ECNL clubs and Sporting Delaware embarrasses you in your star studded maiden game.

Not defending or promoting either team, but overall DCUM focuses SO MUCH on individual game results. Missing a target player or a keeper? Are a few players sick and not available such that a team is shorthanded on a hot day? That can be disastrous for even the best teams. Not saying FCV shouldn't be better, but without watching the game, nobody knows with any of these results -- same thing in all the friendly results that are touted as so meaningful in other threads.
You could have a player that always plays the 10 and no one else on the team can play that position as well. Therefore, you won't do as well in a game since other players can't control the middle.

Unlikely, they lost all but one league game last season. There are not that many kids seeking out a losing GA team when they are surrounded by better ECNL options in their area.
