My grandfather just turned 100. I want my kids to see him again because he could die at any moment, basically. His whole facility is vaccinated, and all visits occur masked and outdoors. However, he does not live in MD or VA, so somehow that is "unsafe," while I could take my kids to Six Flags or go to an arcade on the Eastern Shore, and somehow this is "safe."

It IS lunacy. I would suggest that no one is allowed to visit MD or VA either because I don't want my kids getting COVID from a bunch of kids who just went to Six Flags. Maybe people can only leave for employment reasons?
