The "clown" made a valid point. The quality of life in Ohio is much better than what DMV can offer. Not having to deal with traffic jams and having a reasonable commute is worth it. The people are also friendlier and don't call each other clowns or say that someone else's kid will wash out. That's DMV for you.

Their numbers will slowly dwindle; and this is why they decided to partner with Manassas and McLean. They're not in the interest of investing in developing players, they're in the interest of recruiting players for wins. Wins equal 'success' and league status. This is their business model.

Arlington, Alexandria, and yes I agree with you VDA are the best at investing and development for even after they go to college. Many of these SYC players can play one brand of football; that's not the most ideal situation for $2500 a year for club fees (before you throw in team fees).

Agree, at LMVSC they used to take pride on bringing scholarship kids in and now SYC is having to deal with more than they can keep up. It's a business.
