Either BI is getting worse or SJC is getting better - or both. I'm leaning on the side of both. It is the sign of parity and growth of girls lacrosse in DMV. There are the traditional powers like SSSAS, Visi, BI but now SR & GC are on that level and lower but making moves are Bullis, Holton and SJC.
Difficult to draw any conclusions this spring. BI took Visi - ranked #1 Nationally - to OT a week ago. And the same BI team barely beat a SJC team that’s been a perennial bottom dweller in the WCAC for years. What does it mean? Who knows. This year is an outlier - Covid has wreaked havoc on every program and impacts players and coaches in a way that make predictions, or conclusions, pretty meaningless
