And I am glad I know he is married. It is easier to know it is closed. We were talking again just 2.5 months ago so I am glad I know sooner than later. I should have never responded to the I miss you/wish it did not have to be texts and conversations he initiated for a whole month after the breakup. So you can stop pointing out the obvious: I know he is married and it is fine. I posted an update in case anyone has a similar situation and might want to know the ending of this one in case they find themselves in a similar scenario.

I was responding to the assumption I was there a few hours in a weekend. I was correcting a factual inaccuracy from the past. I do not know why you keep stating the obvious. I know that. I can correct someone’s assumption about what happened in the past. I am not ruminating by correcting a small fact.

OP, the relationship you thought you had never existed. the man you thought he was does not exist. You need to accept this and move on. We've all been duped, it sucks learn what you can and move on.

I have a friend who dated 2 Indian guys. Both guys dated her and then married very shortly after.
The first guy was the love of her life. They dated for 5+ years and it took my friend another 5 to finally really move on. His mom and dad would not approve of my friend and used the guilt trip to eventually have him marry a suitable Indian girl. The guy was the perfect Indian guy on paper and married another perfect Indian girl. They got married, had a child and eventually divorced.
