The first one wasn't too bad, but the rest are just ridiculous. Including the racoon and pizza one.

All of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid/Dork Diaries books. Describing middle school girls as "hot" and blathering about cell phones and who's popular. Ugh. I tossed them in the trash and we're reading A Wrinkle in Time.

Them's fightin' words!!!! Fancy Nancy isn't a perfect kid, but the point is that she recognizes her crappy behavior, takes responsibility, and learns from it. You skip over the crappy behavior part and you miss the lessons about doing better!
