You still seem to think that people care if Loudoun goes bankrupt. Frankly, many people would think it would be a blessing if they did go bankrupt.
Seems to me most people just want to talk about justice but but aren’t really willing to do much about it other than move to another club that behaves the same way or worse. Or they are just full of it and represent FCV. Either way, doubt anyone will take the time or effort. This is effectively a non story and par for the course for most of there sports clubs.
Ok, Homer. Many of us won’t be making donations to support your ECNL DCs environment in the future.
That’s fine, as the significant amount of $$ we paid for ECNL and did not get refunded for supported your kid’s cheap, rec program. ECNL parents (and DA) lost a lot more than you did. Yes, it sucks but my point is not that we shouldn’t get refunded but either accept it, file a suit, or just keep quiet. My other point is all clubs are doing this not just Loudoun. So I take this whole thread with skepticism on its true intent.

Exactly. Sometimes principles are worth fighting for.
Right now, preschools, daycares, camps and extra-curriculars are keeping unearned money right and left. It's not actually legal. They get away with it because it's hard for parents to organize and push back.
Heck, even United Airlines wasn't allowed to do that. It took a lot of pressure from the Department of Transportation, but they've finally started issuing refunds.
Agreed. File the lawsuit. Who’s gonna take the first real action?

Not the PP , just reading these threads. This is such a ridiculous statement. Here's the thing, they got the nuggets while the $82 to LS got them nothing. Noted, almost all the clubs kept everyone's money. LS is a super big organization, they could have done better and served their community better by giving them 50% back. Goodness they received money from the PPP program or whatever that's called. LS had their cake and ate it too. Rotten, but not much different than many other clubs.
