Wow, so many haters and trolls. I do have to upvote Rice. It has a nice campus and high percentage of classes are taught by profs. I haven't seen much hate for University of the South, which produces excellent writers.

Everyone knows USNWR is the gold standard for ranking colleges. Unfortunately they do not rank beauty, hence I linked the first google listing. And any ranking that would put Arizona state in the 40s in front of Rice and Vanderbilt is highly suspect. But you go ahead and pick whatever ranking makes you feel good.

Catholics are responsible for some of the most beautiful architecture in the world. Too bad it can't be found in South Bend.

You are right. But you can find some of the most beautiful campus buildings and a gorgeous basilica in a town called Notre Dame, Indiana.
