won’t shut down like ECNL. Kids/parents will decide if their child wants to play. Some kids will and some won’t. The priority will be the club team. Both programs (ECNL/GA) are terrific options. I am glad it all worked out. I know families in both and everyone seems
happy.

haha, so you're saying the HS treatment will be the same, only different, right?
There's a big difference IMO. One endorses HS soccer, the other kinda sorta accepts that some girls may want to compromise their teams by doing it, and that is ok... I guess.

Revisionist history here. Ecnl was discouraging Hs strongly until GDA came along and it became a marketing angle. Come on now. Ecnl is some organization of noble individuals looking out for the best interests of players. Give it a rest.

Believe me, I'm not saying ECNL is noble, I'm just looking at the policies as they stand today. I've been through Terry's shaming method (yes in ECNL), and it doesn't work. GA should either endorse HS, or not, leaving it ambiguous (as they appear to be doing) makes it harder on the girls that want to play HS.

Terry has been gone a number of years now. What kind of loser who had a kid play for him years ago is on a message board about youth soccer?

So what kind of perv is hanging around these boards?

I have more than one daughter, fool. Sheez, grow up.

Don't worry buddy. This is what they do. Leftist tactic 101. Scream in your face and throw every negative connotation your way until you back down. Hence, your a "perv" for posting on a soccer forum.

This actually does seem consistent with what we heard from our club earlier this week -- it sound like "permitted in unusual circumstances, but discouraged."

We have played both teams . I would say both FCV and VDA team has some talent players. What you should be worrying about is if your DD will even play at a college level . Be realistic not all these girls will be playing in college.

Not all of VDA will not play at the college level. That much is true.

don't forget D3 is a college level too - Bring on Bridgewater! Or at the very best - Coastal Carolina

There are a few places talking about a 10 month season popping up. It sounds like each conference will set their own league schedule and there is no "mandate" on HS soccer. Does this mean we'll have 8 Type A TD's each negotiating their own schedules? Sounds like if there are any accommodations for HS soccer, it will be within your own club. We'll be back to Terry's shaming approach sounds like.
That doesn't sound like the sea change that was initially advertised.

The decision to play HS is up to each individual conference. Here's a hint. You may want to ask around, Blue

You may want to post a link that supports your argument about high school play. Did you read this before re-posting? Clearly states by GA that high school play is allowed. Are you the tweeter trying to bait the GA with your gotcha statements and then trying to plug yourself on DCUM?

I was called a troll when I said the DA was collapsing a month before it collapsed.
