I think the 2008 team may have spots as KL kept the team small and moving to larger field so traditionally a year to add. KL developed the team so already have his system of play.
I would not be advertising roster spots available for the 2008 team. Before the pandemic they were actively recruiting for that team. The league play in pre-ecnl was subpar.
