Look how much cleaner the world has become- the air, the water...
also, there are so many seniors in care homes whose relatives will be secretly relieved if they died.
There are homeless people who are supposedly harder hit by the virus; in any case, I see much fewer of them now...
I think this is a means to rebalance the world...

Oh, I like that idea!
G/F has been staying with me and I can put on a suit and tie, she can wear a short dress with thigh highs and garters, and take some "dictation"!

I’m was feeling so incredibly guilty but am so exhausted from cleaning everything, distracted by the news, stalking websites for products, that I’ve barely gotten anything done this week. I have to submit a daily report and have been pretty much making it up. And this is such a perfect time for me to catch up on work and do some much needed file/email clean up and organization yet I’m blowing it big time.
My confession is: I haven’t wore panties since last week. Shower every day and put in a clean nightgown (bra is optional) but no panties. I’m telling myself that is healthy to let the vagina breathe.

Confession: I am struggling trying to teach my 6 year old one on one.
I am bored, he is bored, I am ready to throw in the towel and have a Mario kart challenge all week instead. I downloaded abcmouse (boring) and adventure academy (“can not connect to server”) to be my savior, but they have failed me.
I am telling myself he was way ahead when schools closed, so missing a few months is no big deal and we will just bake cookies and it will be okay.
I know that these are confessions, but this is super lame. Find some topics/stories that he is interested in and go to town. Look at pinterest.

There was a distinct gleeful “haha” tone to a lot of those posts about borders closing and flights being canceled.
That’s a really shitty attitude to take btw. You should be embarrassed to admit that.

I’m completely privileged because I have an awesome DH and kids that are doing really great with this quarantine and a truly great au pair to help out 6 -8 hours a weekday while we telework. Total introvert here and feeling like a weight off my shoulders when everyone is on the same page re not socializing. I even got slightly annoyed when I saw my Facebook friend had organized a virtual happy hour. Part of me was like: cmon, can’t we all just be alone with ourselves for a bit? I know I know.
Same.
I also love there’s no societal expectation to socialize anymore.
No friends demanding I meet them for coffee just so they can complain an hour about their husband.
No one begging me to pick up or watch their kids — JUST TODAY.
No relatives trying to one up me on vacations - we’re heading to Sydney for a week, where are you and Steve going?
It’s just so so nice and peaceful.
I agree, I'm happy about the bolded. Although for me, it's friends bragging. We're headed to Europe for Spring Break, where are you going? Before I felt guilty about not being able to go somewhere. Now we're all in the same boat.
