They are either going to McLean or MUFC. Only players coached by Layton will stay. The others will head to better clubs.

Kevin Layton took over as ECNL director and heavily involved in a few teams. Some more movement from MRM and not just 05 team.

Okay.

The Bethesda 2003 ECNL and ECNL RL teams are being coached by Trey this year. He is considered to be one of the top BSC coaches and the ECNL NE division is one of the tougher ones. The ECNL team is about half 10th graders, so they are a younger teams. The older players have mostly committed to colleges already. They had a poor showing last weekend in the MD United Showcase, but were under rostered (13-14 players). I’m not sure why. The RL team won their bracket, beating OPSA Magic (State Champs). If the committed players decide to not travel as much with the team this year, I suspect the door is open for players on Trey’s RL team. BSC has been told to focus more on winning this season and all the teams have been doing a lot of scrimmaging and winter leagues to get ready. We will see.

They are probably the 2nd best ECNL team at Bethesda but regional and nationally they are weak. I doubt they even get close to qualifying for ECNL nationals. They finished in the bottom half last year.

Younger groups are stronger

Weak. The only group that is competitive is 05.
