As I mentioned in a previous thread (and op attacked me for it) I’m sure she is nice to her inner circle but when she can’t even say hello to the parents of children in her kids classes, no I do not think she is nice.

I’ve known her for 30 years. I personally find her very engaging and personable. Btw, I’m not the only one posting that she’s friendly.

Wonk celebrities:
- Madeline Albright- very nice when we were on the same plane and I spoke to her.
- Chuck Todd - sends his kids to public schools, wears dad jeans and seems very down-to-earth
- Dick Gephardt - sat next to him on a very small plane. He read a ton of magazines. When we spoke at the end of the flight, he was very nice.

Well Karen, sounds like you’ve not met her. So you can’t speak to subject of this thread. Maybe go back to what you THINK she’s like on the other thread. She’s always been very nice to me and my family.
I haven’t met her? Oh ok. 2 of my kids were in their preschool and then private classes with her kids for 7+ years but sure I’ve never met her. YOU have seen her Xmas card and hung out a few times so you must really know her much better than me!!

I’m on the fringe of a friend group of hers. I’ve seen her a Christmas card, but didn’t receive one personally. As I’ve said, I’ve met and hung out with her many times over the years. She’s from relatively humble Arlington beginnings.

He was polite and friendly and signed little pieces of notepaper to us "from your TV neighbor, Mr. Rogers." Didn't want to chat much though, he was reading the paper and seemed to want to get back to it.
I like that Fred Rogers seems like a normal person trying to zone out while waiting for their flight! He's almost deified in many stories with endless patience, a beatific smile, and radiating calm, quiet, joy. Here he's like any other frustrated traveller albeit pleasant enough.

He had a tour bus, and she was kind of hanging outside of it, when he stuck his head out, pointed at her, and gestured if she wanted to come in, so she did. It was very quick and she was back out. Typical 20 something sex I guess. She didn’t have to sign anything, and just said it was kind of fast and a flurry and she doesn’t remember much. Not a big deal
I'm sure he doesn't remember it at all. He used to have a HUGE alcohol problem, maybe still does.
