Wondering about the health status of the Asian American journalist who was attacked by the alt-left Antifa.

Is he still in critical care? He looked really badly beaten.

Which definition of "journalist" are we using here?

Luckily, we don't depend on an authority to decide who is or is not a journalist. I may not like Don Lemon but he is still a journalist even though he is very much an activist for the leftist agenda. Same with Rachel Maddow.

I tried to get information from several departments using bing and nothing from the federal government popped up regarding Antifa. Many alternative news sources and a few from MSM news sources. I got the ubiquitous "search results have been removed" and one search yielded 7 results....on the worldwide web....SEVEN.

Also pray that Trump starts to stand up for journalists and stops turning a blind eye to the violence they face!

Trump sure thinks so! He even joked about it with Putin who has murdered journalists.

I would find the MSM’s Andy Ngo concern-trolling more convincing if they stopped calling him a journalist. A stronger argument might be “don’t take the fascist troll’s bait” or just “don’t assault people, in general.” Calling him a journalist fundamentally misses his function.

Any discussion of Ngo has to start with the fact that he is actively enabling violent threats against actual journalists. Criticize the strategy for responding to that if you must, but at least acknowledge what he is and what he’s done. Otherwise you’re just being used.
