Don’t need to be. Blasey ford appeared to be an early onset dementia patient.
She certainly didn’t convince any republicans.

MAGAs don’t care about facts or truth so no surprise there.

Facts? Truth?
How about presumption of innocence? Blasey Ford was unable to provide any actual proof of her claims. Zilch.
She had no facts. And, it appeared that her truth was just that - HER truth. Not THE truth.

And then ANOTHER deferment for a Supreme Court clerkship - I'm pretty confident that has never happened before. What use does the Army JAG Corps have for a former Supreme Court clerk?

Bet she has a good time processing insurance claims and filling out wills and POAs for deployments.

Do you know anything about military JAG? Who do you think prosecutes and defends soldiers when they are tried? Who do you think sits on the military bench? Oh, sure, someone high profile like Bergdahl or Hassan may hire a private attorney, but most are handled in house.
Sure, there are JAG officers involved in wills and POAs which are pretty much forms prepared by paralegals, but that is minimal compared to most of the other duties. Who do you think handles sexual assault cases? Regular assault cases? AWOL? Desertion? Theft? etc. Oh, and there are also housing discrimination cases, and all types of legal issues.

There will be plenty of time for her to serve. She may have already, in fact.

I love it when people who know nothing try educate those who do know what they're talking about. DH was an ROTC JAG and I was a civilian attorney working on post, but I'll defer to your superior knowledge.

DH thinks Tiger Mommy might have or will pay off Tiger Baby's commitment, but I think she'll eventually serve because she probably has political ambitions and military service seems to be a good addition to the political resume. And just think what kind of book Amy could write about that!

Sounds like the PP knew what they were talking about. Perhaps you’re just insecure?

You are about as qualified as a Supreme Court clerk to try a sexual assault case. You think they throw a brand-new JAG into a major felony trial? New JAGs will start in legal assistance, etc. You want someone who's spent 2 years being chased around the desk by Brett Kavanaugh defending your court-martial?

The ultimate point is that Tiger Mom's kid is getting special treatment. The question is why.

Seriously? What a grossly inappropriate remark. Why am I not surprised. Kavanaugh has never done any such thing, so keep your fevered imagination to yourself.

+1.

PP is sick

You are not Kavanaugh. You don’t know what he’s done in his life. Your blind defense of a man with admitted drinking problems and accusations of sexual assault from credible females just makes you sound dimwitted.

DP.

1. You are not Kavanaugh either.
2. PP is not Kavanaugh, but believes it is her duty and responsibility to make unfounded accusations about chasing people around a desk. Disgusting.
3. Admitted drinking problems? No. There are no drinking problems. Seven FBI background checks prove that.
4. Accusations of sexual assault? You mean from Blasey Ford whose own witnesses could not corroborate her story? Or, maybe Julie Swetnik? The accuser referred for a criminal probe for false accusations?
5. Finally - we DO know what he has done in his life. And, his accomplishments are far greater than what you have accomplished, of that I am sure.

You are desperate, pp.

Look in the mirror if you want to see desperation. You are the one defending a mediocre man who was put on the Supreme Court despite not being assessed as well-qualified by the ABA, who likes to hire women "who look like models" according to Amy Chua. Oh and btw, just because there are no witnesses to sexual assault, doesn't mean it didn't occur. Most sexual assault doesn't have witnesses. I pray you don't have a daughter, because with your attitude it would be devastating if she were ever to be raped.

DP. I "pray" that no member of your family is every falsely accused of anything. That would certainly be devastating, wouldn't it?

If dp is a trump supporter his family is falsely accused of racism and white privileged and the patriarchy and sexual harassment daily.
Daily. So I’d guess he’s pretty familiar with false accusations.

Really? Because last I checked, the only person who accused him of anything, waited to do so 35 years after the alleged incident occurred, and had no one who could back up her claim. Remember Swetnik? Fraud. She backtracked her entire story when called on it. I can't even believe you would include her in your "credible females" remark.

Do you remember the hundreds of women who came forward in support of Kavanaugh? Women who had grown up with him, worked with him, known him for years... not one accusation of impropriety. So yes, although I don't know him personally, I will continue to defend him as I would anyone in his position. The only people who are actually dimwitted are those who jump at the chance to take down someone they disagree with politically, with no actual evidence of wrongdoing. Innocent until proven guilty - does that mean anything to you?

So, who is the one who was asleep last year??????

Of course, that’s why his confirmation was held up for three years. Because he was so eminently well-qualified.

Get with the program. We are talking about his nomination and confirmation to SCOTUS.
And, yes, he is eminently well-qualified.

Yep, brushing it off.

Get with the program. We are talking about his nomination and confirmation to SCOTUS.
And, yes, he is eminently well-qualified.

The bolded is a flat out lie. https://www.nationalreview.com/news/american-bar-association-backs-kavanaugh-despite-previous-letter-to-the-contrary/
As for the rest of your post..........You have problems.
I chuckle at this comment........"just because there are no witnesses to sexual assault, doesn't mean it didn't occur."
That is a statement of pure desperation. It is like me saying, "Just because there were no witnesses to you abusing your child, it doesn't mean it didn't occur."

So you didn't know? Were you asleep last year?

Did you happen to note the date on your article, pp. It is 2006.

At the time of his nomination and confirmation, he was rated as well-qualified.

Right. He was well qualified. But not always. Because of inexperience and dissembling.

That came up during his confirmation but the Republicans just brushed it off, just the same as they brushed off his other issues. And apparently you were asleep.

What a typical liberal "know-it-all" response.
Let's review what happened here.....

I respond to your BS talking points.
You respond with a completely false statement....."You are the one defending a mediocre man who was put on the Supreme Court despite not being assessed as well-qualified by the ABA"
I respond with evidence that you are flat out wrong.
You then respond with an article from 2006 presumably trying to back up your false statement.
I then reply with more evidence that you are indeed wrong..."The American Bar Association will no longer review its "well qualified" rating of Justice Brett Kavanaugh now that the Senate confirmed him, an ABA official told CNN Monday. The official, who declined to speak on the record, cited an ABA policy of ending its rating process once a nominee is confirmed."
I then point out that your "evidence" is from a totally different situation from 12 years prior to his confirmation to SCOTUS.
You then reply with another BS statement to try to cover your A$$ because, and this is the important part, YOU ARE UNABLE TO ADMIT YOU ARE WRONG.

So damned typical.
