No. The book only covered most of S1. S2 and up are new material written for the series. Up until now (staples), I bought MA’s line that everything shown was something that had happened to women somewhere at some point. I don’t buy the staples as a realistic solution for keeping women silent. Gilead could have just removed their tongues, which HAS happened to women.
