So why did Papadopolous lie? He is a convicted felon now. Why was that worth lying to the FBI?
What does "exculpatory" mean in this context? Exculpatory evidence is supposed to be turned over in an actual trial, but it's not the standard for opening an investigation as far as I know. If what you're suggesting is that they were purposefully lying to the FISA court, that's a different matter. What I suspect is that the supposed tapes are just part of the overall picture, and would not have made a difference granting the FISA warrants.
This, from an article a few months back.....
"First, the FBI must present evidence to FISA judges that it has verified and that comes from intelligence sources deemed reliable. Second, it must disclose any information that calls into question the credibility of its sources. Finally, it must disclose any evidence suggesting the innocence of its investigative targets."

So, if exculpatory information was withheld from the FISA court, those who had that information are in violation.

I hope the anti-Trump folks are smart enough to get that the government officials who perpetrated the hoax and their political and journalistic enablers are not worth defending, instead they should be thrown under the bus, ESPECIALLY if you want to defeat Trump.
Got news for you. The more Judicial Watch and others uncover through FOIA, the more journalists will be forced to cover the hoax in a 'do it or die' moment.
There's a reason that Democrats are trying to prove Trump unfit for Presidency and/or mentally ill. They know what they've done, what it means, and they are trying to save themselves. They know that if Trump declassifies to the American people (which he will do), it's all over. So watch for the media to pick up this 'mentally ill' and 'unfit' narrative as a way to 'soften' that blow.
Exactly. So funny how he’s SUDDENLY so sick.
And fat. Time it step up your hysterics, Dems.
AG is afraid of no one.![]()
How sweet is that?
Fearless. His testimony in front of senate has been killer.

He made a minor mistake about *when* he met Mifsud, that’s it. He was off by a couple weeks about that date and so spent about 2 weeks in jail. Nothing earth shattering, at all.

If it is a hoax, why are people in jail? Why are people pleading guilty? It doesn't make sense. If it were a hoax, and I was caught up in it, I would want everyone to see the full Mueller report that exonerates me. I would have had Mueller testify before the Congress for the whole world to see, that I was innocent. I would be giving all of the documents to the Congress to prove my innocence.
So why is everyone in Trumpworld lying? Why are they hiding documents? Why won't Mueller and others who were involved in the investigation testifying?
I suggest you take a look at how Mueller kept four innocent men in jail (two died there) in the Whitey Bulger case and how MA taxpayers had to hugely compensate the two that were finally released. Barr's pick, John Durham, was the one who fixed it all.

Full panic mode, if you look at CNN.
