Public performances is how they market themselves for the private events.
I have another friend that was a librarian at a branch in Rockville and they would pay anywhere from 300 to 500 for performers. These shows are usually free to the public, but are paying their performers well.
You’re completely nuts if you think the Rockville public library has the budget to pay $500. for a kid show. Now indulgent parents? The sky’s s the limit! Ask Steve Rossi. Or any one of these guys who do the same thing.
You and your friend are completely delusional if you think Rockville Public Library paid anyone $500.00 to screech out a few songs and act like a twit with the kids. This man has no vocal talent.

A lot of people did like his voice, because he’d have lots of people dancing with his songs. I personally think some of his lyrics we’re creepy. He has a song called, ‘obey me’. Grooming is a technique used to eventually isolate a kid and like previous poster said, he’s been to 50 shows and never seen it. He’s not going to be in a position to do that, as parents don’t disappear from scene.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9--t3zl4NkY
his name and the words to the song are disturbing
He’s got several very disturbing songs he liked to sing to the kids. It’s called “grooming” - yes, right in front of the parents. It tends to be very effective for pedophiles. I saw somewhere said “Now he can sing for his fellow inmates.”
But seriously, his vocals are pretty bad. Just search “Mr Knick Knack” on YouTube. His voice hurts my ears, it’s so bad. His “success” was acting goofy with little kids. What a damn genius. And how much were duped parents paying him to show up at their homes?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Pp, are you on crack? Do you think the parents just disappear at a bday party, go to movies and he’s alone with a kid. These parties are crawling with parents. Yes, I’ve been to parties with performances. They set up, in front of everyone, do show and leave. It’s not like the parents disappear from the scene of the party. I stand by what I said. I guarantee you, nothing from a party would come out.
You “guarantee” us Steve h Rossi was never alone with a child before or after a birthday party performance in a busy family home? Perhaps the Fairfax County police department would appreciate you sharing your source.

I’m saying that we hear about a teacher every week and it’s tragic. You aren’t with the kids, then, because you drop them off. Performers at parties are there for an hour, then leave. Only time will tell, but even the police have said they don’t believe he had contact with children. I think it stays that way.
Go should go clean out your closet, my friend.

He went a bit over the top claiming to have attended 50 Knick shows when his child was little. Come on, now.
Exactly. They don't want their tactics and methods revealed.
Evil is the word. Evil Knick Sh$t. And beware, there are many more just like him. Imagine having to wonder if he molested your little boy after a birthday party. Perhaps even the birthday boy got ‘special’ time with this pervert. I recommend sticking with women for young children. Big time.
However, are you just going to avoid men altogether? Most coaches are guys and most teams are definitely drop off situations.
My kids will not be alone with men, yes.
Same here, at least not when they’re little.
