It’s very confounding and stupid.
The "plan" is to cover their ears and loudly yell "LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU."
As a candidate, Trump repeatedly denied any connections to Russia even as his business was pursuing a potential real estate deal in Moscow. Trump also voiced skepticism that Russia had hacked Democratic party emails “at the same time as he and other Campaign advisors privately sought information … about any future planned WikiLeaks releases.”
The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election “in a sweeping and systematic fashion”. “The investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome.” Investigators found multiple ties between the Trump campaign and the Russians.
Some of the earliest contacts dated back to 2015 and were in connection to a potential real estate project, known as Trump Tower Moscow and negotiated by the Trump Organization. Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen was convicted in part for lying to Congress about the timeline and nature of those discussions, which reportedly entailed gifting Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, a $50m penthouse. Among the most notable early contacts with the Russians was through the Trump campaign’s foreign policy adviser, George Papadopoulos, who learned that the Kremlin had “dirt” on Clinton “in the form of thousands of emails”.
"When Sessions told the President that a Special Counsel had been appointed, the President slumped back in his chair and said, ‘Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I’m f*cked.’"

What I see here is a bogus investigation into the Trump campaign by those in the previous administration. Democrats refuse to admit this.
And, yes, an investigation of the investigators needs to be conducted. Because that is where the real crimes are.
A lying dishonest president who wants to disregard the rule of law is fine by you because you put party over country.
Your comment is so ironic given that the previous administration - a DEMOCRATIC administration - disregarded a plethora of laws in an effort to prevent and then overturn an election.
Alternative facts.
Truth: Trump-Russia goes back to at least 2013 and Trump has been laundering Russian money for decades
Truth: There were hundreds of contacts between Russian operatives and Trump operatives
Truth: Many of the contacts were collected by US Intelligence and our FiveEyes allies
Truth: They were collected because of routine surveillance on the Russian operatives
Truth: In fact, Oligarchs were able to get policy recommendations to the highest levels of the Trump Administration
Truth: Our foreign policy is more closely aligned with Russia today than 2 years ago
Truth: Kushner and Trump have been selling US Intel secrets for personal gain
You need to unfollow Seth Abramson. His "truths" are fantasy.
If crimes were committed, Mueller and his endless resources - both financial and personnel - were unable to find them. Why aren't you accepting the findings of Mueller's report?
Bingo.
And the foreign policy/Russia comment is hilarious, considering Obama was caught on a hot mic telling a Russian official he's have more influence AFTER the election. Liberals always want to forget that happened.

DP- you are the only one beating this drum. You need another schtick.
The only thing we should all be upset about with the previous administration, is them not making all of this public before the election. The idea that a presidential campaign would even consider reaching out to a foreign entity is so utterly outrageous, I don’t think anyone knew exactly how to proceed. It’s so unimaginably traitorous, it boggles the mind.

Here's the report. Anyone who wants to argue it's all based on fake dossiers or whatever can see it in plain black and white.
This is absolutely damning for the president. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
OMG, it's DAMNING!! Time to arrest him and use the firing squad![]()
Conservatives knew this was coming for months. No collusion. No nothing except for more character assassination.
Declassifying will be a damn party.
Says everything about your ethics, or lack thereof, that you think a dishonest president pressuring his aids to lie and commit crimes is just fine.
Man you cons are showing your true colors - your patriotism is about as thin and superficial as it gets. You don’t really want to live by the laws of this land.

Mueller’s finding was that he turned the obstruction charge over to Congress because he couldn’t exonerate the President. I’d be pretty ashamed to be supporting a treasonous liar like Trump these days.
And you see nothing funky about that at all? Really?
Not really.
Seems that Mueller is just hoping that Congress will charge him with something because he's got nothing but in the end- it was all a nothing burger anyway.
Time for de-class and tribunals.

It doesn’t need summarizing on here for people that won’t read it. Yes he did ask McGahn(twice I think), McFarland, and Christie, and porter to call people, to write letters firing people, to garner loyalty, to end the invest.
Do NOT take my word for it. Read it.
If you want to take a week, go ahead. Longer, fine by me. But by three weeks’ time, there is literally no excuse to say you haven’t read it (if you’re on here, interested in politics, and debating about what it says)
So Trump tried but actually didn't, obstruct the investigation- that was based on the made up Russian collusion outlined in the fake Steel Dossier? He should have fired Mueller right off the bat and ended it right there.
If you can't see that this whole thing started with a bullshit dossier created specifically to lead to FISA warrant abuse, attempts to rig an election, and then unseat an elected US President- all of which amounts to TREASON, then I don't know what to tell you.
Someone doesn't know his law.
Trying to obstruct is an offense even if it doesn't succeed, bud.
You can lie all you want but the truth is out there and we don't believe your gaslighting.
So why wasn't he under arrest and perp walked ?
