I have two sons that play and I know Alexandria plays nice soccer on the boys side. They start young with rondos and building out from the back pattern play. etc. Is this true on the girls side? Do they try to play the same way as the boys?
Nobody plays rondo! I better move my kids to Alexandria immediately!
Stop it. The only comparable boys clubs in NOVA at multiple ages are Arlington, VDA and SYC. If you are McLean, Loudoun or BRYC, you can go back to talking about how great your league is despite the woeful performance of your teams and the need to import all your players at older ages to remain competitive.
BRYC and VDA boys recently played in ECNL. BRYC won 3 out of the 6 games including a 5-0 win at U15.
If I were one of better players on Alexandria or SYC teams and was considering player soccer in college, I would consider trying to switch to BRYC.
VDA boys circling the drain. Agree that BRYC is better.

Anonymous wrote:A thread on BRYC but still the Loudoun hate comes spewing out. Seems like someone might need to get back to entering data in a waste management company, whatever the hell that means

They should be dropped
They will be. It’s a matter of time.
The conversations we’ve had with ECNL directors and other member clubs when DA disappeared were very clear about pulling underperforming and undeserving clubs. Loudoun is (has been for a long time) one of those clubs with nothing to show for except fancy posts on social media. BRYC is a crumbling club. They’ll be out as well. If ECNL were to successfully establish a promotion and relegation structure they could be salvaged.
Clubs that stand at the door to join are Arlington and FCV on the girls side for obvious reasons. However, their partnership with TSJ and the recent relocation raise many questions among stakeholders. Additionally, Alexandria and SYC can make a case (and have been mentioned a lot) in these meetings.
The Leesburg area is an oil well waiting to be exploited. LS is caving their own tomb with the humongous player pool they have. It really is baffling to see the same people in charge year after year when they deliver just about the same as the Redskins. FCV, if/when accepted, should boom more than the wolf of Wall Street investments. Loudoun area deserves better.
I don't think the wolf of Wall Street's investments boomed. Otherwise this all makes a lot of sense.
