I agree it's someone in more of a overall policy/ foreign policy or law enforcement type role. I would be very, very surprised if it were someone from the military - just too dangerous for them to go there.

+1 if this person (and the others) think that after all this crap, people will see them as "heroes", they've got another thing coming. People will be questioning why they didn't act sooner if they knew him to be amoral and a loon.
