Its because there are posts after posts about how FCB is the best at developing, how every single kid benefits from their academy style training, how parents all in complete Nirvana. There needs to be a counter balance to that. The only other club mentioned on DCUM that comes close to the extreme passion is with VYS, and it is the opposite, a lot of bashing. Most other people know that there are both positives and negatives with their club and don't pretend it is totally different than any other club in the area. There are a couple honest parents from FCB that post both positives and negatives, but almost all negative posts get bashed almost immediately multiple times.

There needs to be a counter balance? Too many positive posts? You’re trying to invent problems, people like you are a cancer to the sport.

No surprise they set up shop aka franchise in more affluent areas of the USA. Ive heard the FCB stories of my child was picked to go train with them in Spain for a week. Ding Ding another paid add on $$$profit$$$ . Its ok to love the program and its ok to not . the thing we all need to agree its no different then any other club in the USA. different styles for different parents. Are the kids over at Loudon going much farther in the sport than Arlington or Bethesda or Braddock road. or mclean same goes for FCB. just take it as it is another travel club no need to praise or bash it.

This is a fantastic well thought out post.

It is crazy how the my do brainwash people to take trips to Spain and invite them back to train.

Again, tell us where your kid is training so that we can discuss how smart your choice is.

It's the same dude. You can tell by the poor writing. For some reason, the thinks it's his job to warn all of us about this great Evil plan. Thank goodness we have him.

The inaccuracies and his misunderstanding and confusion of ISL camps with FCBescola is enough to tell you he knows absolutely zero about the program. Btw, can anyone tell me where in Southeast there are 'FIFA-certified' fields to house an operation as large as the FCBescola?

LOL! How old is he that he thinks Brooklyn is a less affluent area??!! That sh*t made me spit out my water. Rich hipster/yuppy central.

Because you have people who have had a first-hand look at the development and style of play who see the value of trying to play under their tenets, and then you have people who are cynics and will do mental gymnastics to disprove anything that isn’t a part of the elite super club bubble they’ve always lived in. When you throw in the Barcelona name to boot, people will be lining up down the block to give their 2 cents. Some of them could be Madrid fans for all we know. It’s an anonymous board.

Um....16 pages of babbling and you're telling this poster to calm down?

+1

I dont think calming will help with his multiple personality disorder.

Over the whole year at FCB i met maybe one or two parents as rabid about the club as all of the "parents" on here, amazing! The rest were realistic about the good and bad about the environment. But why let a bit of truth get in the way of a good story?

The vast majority of the players are coming back. Why let the truth get in the way of your narrative?

...and the same is true of many clubs in the DMZ, Mr FCB. why don't you tell us about your NCAA title again, or call us all lemmings. So entertaining!

You must be doofus who assumes he knows who is posting what on an anonymous thread. What a sad existence you live. Have a good day, crazy

Why don't you tell everyone where your kid plays?

FC Virginia is for profit.

Also, lets not forget many respected training companies are for-profit and nobody bats an eye at them:
HP Elite
Coaerver
Golden Boot
Beast Mode

and many more.

At the end of the day we are consumers and as long as I get value for the service that I paid for is all that matters.

FCB does not hide the fact that they are here to expand their brand. This has been said in their presentations.
