Parents with kids applying should know so they can ask A LOT of questions. Plus, this may be a school where if the public school cannot manage a child they pay tuition at a private that can. If my tax dollars helped fund this boy, I want to know.
I would not suggest posting a link with info about the boy since he is a minor. It's easy enough to find the alleged name on your own and then find the parents through searches. An obit for the grandpa of alleged shooter lists them all too. Interesting to note is that grandpa of the alleged shooter fought in WW2.

Why is that interesting?
Still sound like a reporter coming up with bizarre cover story "If my tax dollars helped fund this boy, I want to know." Huh?
Man you sound defensive. Are you related to the boy? Does your child go to the school?
If you don't find that interesting fair enough. His grandson seemed to want to rewrite history with WW2 and blame the Jews so I personalky found that link interesting, but you are right, not everyone does.
Mom's FB is quite fascinating (my opinion, perhaps not yours). I may not have the right one, but if I do, she definitely wants confederate statues left alone.

That was my first thought. The other poster who wants the parents to be paraded publicly into a tell all, right now, right away, is also fishing for information.
The poster who said that the shooter's dad is on Facebook. Has the shooter even been identified?
DP. The shooter hasn't been officially identified but you can find his name, if you know how to Google. Seems to have come from a large white-collar Italian family. Republicans, of course.
That's really uncalled for. I'm a Republican and have raised two lovely children who will give back to society and have the judgment not to engage in anything Neo-Nazi. When you post things like this you sound bigoted.

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Probably a big NRA jerk too.
Was the family’s name released? How is anyone finding the shooter’s dad’s page?

Potter said the teen’s parents admitted he had mowed the symbol into the grass. She said they were aware of his behavioral issues and were getting him treatment.
So sickening. Unless they sent their neo-nazi son off to treatment camp for a half a year its NOT ENOUGH. Call the police.
What exactly were the police going to do that would eventually result in preventing these murders? Do we lock juveniles up and throw away the key for swastikas?
