At that moment, I understood why Kalani worries about having him around the kids.
I am starting to think that his limited language abilities actually mask some disturbing traits. We are assuming that some of his mannerisms are cultural differences, but they are really something else.
He makes me super uneasy.
He got frustrated because Larissa wouldn't stfu and let Fernanda speak. His behavior is actually cultural, I don't see anything wrong with how was he was. You obviously don't know what the Siva Tau is. I actually teared up when he started to cry while talking about how he misses his mom. Him and Jonathan.
Are you white, and only English speaking? You don't seem very cultured, or seem to know what someone sounds like when English isn't their first language.

Also, his intense emotions are very unattractive in an adult. It seems like he bursts into sobs every episode. The tears literally drip down his face. I would not want him to be driving my little kids alone: what would happen if the kids started to squabble or the toddler had a meltdown?

I actually felt empathy for him there. Jay also walked away and back, like "come on!" It sounds like it was explosive, and intense in person.
But I still think Asuelu has the emotional development of a 4 year old. I don't understand what Kalani saw in him - did she spend more than 5 minutes with him before having sex? Because something about it seems disturbing... almost... pedophile like. Yes he has the body of a grown man, but he has the brain development and voice of a preschooler. It's gross.
