The level of nastiness on this thread is amazing. I am sure these posters remain bitter and emotionally unhealthy.

He even admitted going to the OW's house after her kids went to sleep and the husband was away on a business trip and had sex with her in their bed. I was so repulsed by this. Needless to say OW did not want this going to trial and she settled for basically nothing and her H got residential custody of the kids.

After my ex sent his OW down the river and her divorce was finalized I told him to move out and I filed for divorce. He could not believe it because he did everything I asked him to do. I told him I only kept him around as long as I did because I did not want the OW around my kids and I wanted him to destroy her. In the end he had no wife or OW. I topped it off by having my own fun with the OW's husband. Living in different states it did not go anywhere but we sure had fun while it lasted.

So beautiful. I read this twice because it felt so good.

No. Graduate stuxents doing work towards their PhDs get a salary called a stipend. That will be taxed. And if your employer gives tuition assistance that will be taxed.

It's more than just taxing the stipend. Many graduate degrees are tuition free. The GOP bill proposes to tax the value of that education. So right now, a grad student earns $20,000 and gets and education worth $80,000.

Right now, that grad student, if they have other income will pay on that $20,000. In the future, they would have to pay taxes on $100,000.

So much winning.

And why should the Federal government subsidize your useless Ph.D in epistemological philosophy? MD JD and MBA who take out loans to finance their educations are charged interest on top of being taxed on the eventual income that is then used to pay off loans. If your degree can't handle the cost it takes to get it, then maybe it's not worth our tax dollars either and better for all of us that you don't get it.

+1
Also, we are producing WAY TOO MANY PhD's who can't get jobs in academia and eventually transitioning into work that they just didn't need a PhD to ever do. It is a total ponzi scheme benefiting existing professors and desperately needs reform.

Just want to add to this. A friend of mine (PhD from a top public university) was only one of two in his program to get a tenure-track professorship out of the gate. His colleagues are having to cobble together adjunct jobs, scramabling for very low pay.

Again - you people need lives. Stretch your own brain enough to get a PhD and then get back to us all about the harm that it has wreaked on your lives and society in general. Maybe you could make it into a reality tv show even. Bye - good luck starting your actual life!!

A former manager was manipulative and harassed people below him. I provided enough support to senior management so they saw it and removed him from his position. Apparently he was harassing all the males below him.
