So, this is a growing problem? The numbers back that up? Or, it is still a rare occurrence given the number of interactions that are handled daily and because of technology the actions of few are being exposed?
It is not about how many cases are there. It is about how blacks feel the siege EVEN IF A DOZEN incidents happen every year. And a dozen is a big number, especially considering those events don't happen to whites. Why are you not sensitive to the fact that Blacks with their slavery and Jim crow laws will feel distrustful about the system.
Why are white people so sensitive about terror incidents of muslim americans even though statistically over the past decade those are very few in number. And again when statistically it is the white man with a gun who is the most dangerous mass murderer, why is that not taken as seriously as seriousy?
The bottomline is white men(white women are better) is not sensitive about the travails and sensitivities of non-whites BUT expect everyone else to be super sensitive about their own travails. That is the double standard that is not liked. Learning and changing is a good thing.
White people aren't shot by police? Look up John Geer.
One for every dozen or more When whites are 5 times more in population. Get a grip. Also understand context in language. There is always one RARE exception to any rule anyone talks about. But exception doesn't change the rule.
Statistically african americans commit more violent crime. So of course they will be in these situations more often.

"As of Sunday, 1,502 people have been shot and killed by on-duty police officers since Jan. 1, 2015. Of them, 732 were white, and 381 were black (and 382 were of another or unknown race)."

You still itching for a response?
Ahhight I’ll bite.
Check this out...
It took a little bit more than just Honest Abe signing the 13th Amendment to instigate equality for black people in this country.
It took work – a lot of work – by a lot of people for blacks to make even the most miniscule gains in this society and there are still gains to be made.
But little by little and bit by bit and step by step blacks made progress but it wasn't easy...
In order for blacks to make that progress it took bold efforts on both sides of the equation to slowly and steadily inch them closer to equality.
It took the calm letters of people like Frederick Douglass and it took the controversial editorials of people like Ida B. Wells.
It took the calm efforts of people like W.E.B. Du Bois and it took the controversial movements of people like Marcus Garvey.
It took the calm voices of people like Dr. King and it took the controversial comments of people like Malcolm X.
It took the calm attitudes of people like Jackie Robinson and it took the controversial stances of people like Jim Brown.
It took the calm courses of action by organizations like the NAACP and it took the controversial attitudes and approaches of organizations like the Black Panthers.
It took a lot of work from a lot of people fighting from all angles to get blacks to where they are today.
It not only took marches but it took riots too and it not only required protest but it required unrest too to get blacks to where they are today.
And the struggle continues...
Having said that – no, I’m not going to condemn a damn thing oppressed people find themselves forced to do in order to advance their struggles because if freedom and equality was so easily obtainable then there wouldn’t so many wars waged throughout history now would there?
Nitpick cherrypick and criticize my comments to your hearts content.

But I also question as to why ALL black people are routinely held to the standards demonstrated by our worse behaved members and the same is not applied to other races. Is every white man a pedophile? Is every socially awkward white teenager a potential school shooter? Most of the those types of crimes that make the news are overwhelmingly committed by white men, but no one goes around saying "My God those white men are savages".
My issue as a law abiding black person is that no matter what I do, or I teach my son to do, he's going to be held to standards established by the worse behaved members of our race by many. If you don't see a problem with that, you are a problem. Every individual should be judged on their own actions but many refuse to do that. That's what is causing the outrage that many are expressing.
There have been many peaceful protests with no results and no changes. What will it take to get anything changed? How long as a race are we supposed to peacefully wait for justice? As a non-black person none of you can understand the abject terror we live in when it comes to our males. You all can say over and over all you want that "You just have to comply" but it's not true. I could write a novel here on members of my family who have been mistreated by police and/or government officials for no reason other than the color of their skin. It would not even matter to many of you. You'll just pass it off as more unwarranted outrage. You'll stick your head back in the sand and tell yourself that everything that happens to us is justified by x,y,z.
Ultimately, you'll never have to walk in our shoes, so you'll never know. People like many of you will continue to say that black people should fix themselves, stop sitting around, stop blaming etc. etc. Well many of us have done that, and it still doesn't matter. My son, who is being raised in an upper middle class household with values, morals and high expectations, will be in as much danger as a black man from the worse ghetto; because to many of you and the police, the only thing that you see is his black skin.
FYI, I am a Caucasian who knows how easily rich, white neglected boys can become mass murders. They've been spoiled rotten to the core and they believe the world should revolve around them, forever.
Or they are, you know, mentally ill.

Not remotely part of this thread but mass shooters (who have also been asian, black and arab) often have undiagnosed schizophrenia or other psychosis coupled with extreme isolation. It is also not "easy" for "rich, white neglected boys can become mass murders".
I am not sure why you are comparing mass shooters to police shootings.
