Why do people like to respond to this with totally mundane jobs, like lawyers?

I would be really interested in something like "positive reinforcement tiger trainer, $1 mil" but have been bored by basically everything listed.

World Bank, maybe? If so, all taxes are paid by the bank on a quarterly basis.
I have CPA's in my building who work for the bank (who call themselves financial analysts). 4 years ago their salaries were in the high 200's.
I still do not know what they do exactly. I know they go to meetings and answer their emails and take several vacations a year.

37, Own a small commercial plumbing company. Good year is 700K, bad year is 300K.

cosmetic dermatologist $400K

Me: turning 34, 200k as sales engineer
Spouse: 37, teacher/coach/administrative role making almost 90k

Us too, plus we have the $2M each retirement annuity defined benefit plan, guaranteed and backstopped by taxpayers.

Sales. Income has ranged from 200-700k. DH is a program manager for a fed contractor 220k.
