In case you're uncertain -- "median" means that half of households have an income of less than $100,000 and half of households have an income of more than $100,000. If you don't think that twice the median income for the county counts as affluent, then I wonder how you define affluent.
Also, household income is only one aspect of SES. SES stands for socio-economic status.
At least 300k and up. MoCo's 100k is due to a lot of low income families.
