I do what I want and not' what some people
say. Everyone can use money but I guess if
you have plenty of it you're be offended but
how sad. Never heard of such a thing in my life
that people don't appreciate a card with a gift
of love in side. If you don't appreciate my thought of love that's your problem then you
should let people know that you don't want it.
Most people do what they have grown up and seen other's do. The way this world is going you should be glade to get what ever someone gives you.

My parents were first generation Italian and we were in NY. When their parents died, I remember them receiving cards from friends and and was surprised by how many had cash. It was definitely a cultural thing.

Friends just a card. Close family members you can't attend send maybe $300.
