I asked the same question. Response from DCUM was that he messed up the potential for an IPO (and lots of money) when he dropped Chevy. Joan had slept with the guy for the business so felt screwed over by Don. I did read one reviewer that said the Joan’s animosity seemed too much and I agree.
Harry is going to flip when he finds out how much the partners are going to make from the buy out. I looked up Don's 10% example, in todays money it would be about 9
.8 million.
