It's not for everyone but IMO not 'too old' either. My good friends mother was 47 when she was born. Her sisters were 14 and 16. They are close. Sometimes I think she is like a person from another era, as she was almost raised in a different time. Go for it if your over 40..I think when your wanting to have children it's your intuition kicking in
